This is taking me longer to read than the first book in the trilogy. I am not sure what it is that makes it a little difficult to focus on.

I quite liked this book. It gave some good background on the origins of Thorbardin.

This series is pretty good. I definitely prefer volume one and especially volume three, but overall it’s a good compacted history of Thorbardin. If you can piece the series together on Amazon I recommend doing so.
